About the Artist

AM RISE LLC

Aisha Daritza Muhammad (b.1999) is a mixed-media visual artist from Panamá, based in North Carolina. Her work is profoundly influenced by her cultural heritage and identity as a Black Latina artist, as well as her travels and her passion for exploring the endless possibilities of creative expression. Each of her paintings tells a distinct story—an exploration of color, emotion, and personal experience.

Her portfolio features one-of-a-kind artworks, each crafted with passion and intention. Aisha enjoys experimenting with new mediums, embracing organic forms, layered materials, and textural surfaces to push the boundaries of creativity. Alongside her traditional work, she also produces digital illustrations that expand her storytelling into new spaces.

Her practice includes painting and handmade framing, and she is currently exploring mural art (wall art) and crafting (jewelry making and ceramics) to bring her work into new forms and environments.
